About Maria 

Maria was born in Trøndelag on January 12th 1998. She grew up with her mother, father and five siblings on a farm in the innermost part of Trondheimsfjorden, Inderøy. Her home was filled with warmth and strong role models. Maria spent every summer by the sea and caring for her horses.

When not in the stables, she spent most of her free time by the piano. 

Maria is dedicated to safeguarding the welfare of all animals, whether pets or livestock. With compassion and responsibility at the core of her work, she strives to ensure that all animals can live a healthy, safe, and dignified life.

As a veterinarian competing in Miss Norway, she is not only dedicated to providing top-notch care for animals, but also to raising awareness about the importance of animal health and care. Her work goes beyond medicine — it reflects a passion for making a positive impact on both animals and people. Through her platform, she highlights the value of responsible care, compassion, and sustainability, showing that true dedication means caring for every living being.
